Commitment to WCAG 2.2 AA.
This site is built and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Below is what we test, how we test it, and how to report issues.
Our commitment
Procurement teams in government, K-12, and healthcare procurements increasingly require vendor websites to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We build to that standard by default.
How this site is tested
- Automated scans using axe-core and Lighthouse accessibility audits on every production deploy.
- Manual keyboard-only navigation audits of primary flows: home, services, contact, careers.
- Manual screen reader spot-checks with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS / iOS.
- Color-contrast verification against WCAG 2.2 SC 1.4.3 (body text 4.5:1, UI components 3:1).
- Touch-target size ≥44×44 CSS px verified across layout (WCAG 2.5.5).

Known limitations
If you find content that falls short of WCAG 2.2 AA, please email us so we can fix it. Current known limitations:
- Photography on hero and about sections currently uses placeholders pending a real team photo session (targeted for May–June 2026). Placeholder images include descriptive alt text.
Report an issue
Accessibility feedback and reports go to info@melysjanitorial.com. We aim to acknowledge within one business day and resolve within 10 business days, priority-based.
